my bedroom has a huge window that leads to my "little garden", and since i've been filling it with new plants i noticed that, when the sun goes away, even with the street lights, i couldn't see a thing. and i really needed to check out my plants at any hour of the day, since i like to bring new plants to transfer to a new pot specially at night.
with that in mind, i asked my stepfather to install an outdoor light so i could garden at night, or even sit down and read a book :)
luckily he had just the perfect one for me, and now, i have a beautiful piece that does exactly what it's supposed to do at night, and, during the day, it's so nice to watch.
